I've been going to Sarge's for several years and most of the time his food is good

Pros: My wife and I go there from time to time and the food is good and the price is right

Cons: Last Friday my wife and I went there usually she orders fried haddock. This time they got her order mixed up and gave her baked haddock. It was dry and without flavor. She never made any attempt to make things right. I ordered the Prime rib. It was tough and hard to cut I almost choked on it a couple of times. This had to be a lower grade Prime rib. It certainly wasn't Prime I know my cuts of beef and this was a low grade cut. Even though they advertise it as Prime rib it chewed more like it might have been Select I have had Prime rib many times before and you should be able to but it with a butter knife. I struggled with my meal until I got frustrated and left most of it behind. I hate paying good money for a bad meal

Really great burgers. I think best in the area. Hand formed, juicy and full of good beef flavor. Fries are great - crisp, hot and NOT greasy and so are the onion rings. AND - the beer is cold!

Pros: Prices are low. A great place to take the grand kids and a great place to go without the grand kids. Service is friendly and easy going. Comfortable and good food too.
